What CodeYourDash is
CodeYourDash is a free community program operated by Le Wagon Bali, a registered company in Indonesia. It's a group of friends who code: we meet up, work alongside each other, and share a WhatsApp group. We exist for friendship, learning, and company. We don't sell tickets and we don't charge for access.
Membership
Membership is free and open to anyone based in or visiting Bali who writes code and ships. All nationalities are welcome and the same rules apply to everyone.
You tell us what you're building and we reply to everyone. We only ask that you're actually building something. We can remove anyone who breaks the standards below, and we'll say why. You can leave at any time by leaving the WhatsApp group.
How we operate
CodeYourDash is operated by Le Wagon Bali, which runs the meet-ups and the WhatsApp group.
Community standards
Be respectful. Don't spam the group. Don't sell, recruit, or pitch without asking first. Keep conversations relevant to building. Help when you can.
Don't spam the group with pitches, recruit clients, or push your own paid offerings without asking first. Getting to know people is the point. Using the group as your personal sales channel is not.
If someone makes the group worse, we'll remove them and tell them why.
No guarantees
We don't guarantee a specific schedule, place, format, or outcome. We're building this community as we go. Things will change. Places might move. Sessions might shift. We'll keep the WhatsApp group updated.
Your content
What you share in the group stays yours. We might quote anonymized feedback on the website or social media. If we want to use something specific with your name attached, we'll ask first.
Liability
CodeYourDash is provided as-is. We're not liable for anything that happens at a session, in the group, or as a result of connections made through the community. You're responsible for your own decisions, projects, and conduct.
These terms describe how we run CodeYourDash. They are not legal advice. Participation is voluntary and does not create employment, a business relationship, or any obligation to provide services.
Changes
We can update these terms at any time. If something material changes, we'll mention it in the WhatsApp group. Continued participation means you're good with the current terms.
